Seaweed ~ Mermaid Ring, 9ct or 18ct gold

from £395.00

Seaweed is considered a carrier of good luck and abundance.

As the sea is vast and full of hidden treasure, common seaweed is believed to be a link between the realm of the Land and the realm of the Sea.

Therefore, plants of the sea are conjuring the spirits that dwell in the deeps.

‘The inspiration for this ring evolved from my local beach by my studio, Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight. The tall jagged chalk cliff, the smooth chalky rock pools below with colourful seaweed swaying in the clear waters’.

This ring has been delicately engraved with seaweed swaying upwards towards the edge. It is shown here in a satin finish but can also be made with a shiny finish.

Ring width approx. 2.5mm

Made with recycled gold

*Please note that 18ct white gold is a warm grey colour, due the high gold content.
